Managed cybersecurity for American businesses that can’t staff a security team.
PrimeTech deploys and maintains a practical managed security stack—identity, MFA, endpoint protection, email security, patching, backups, and Microsoft 365 hardening—so you get senior-operator discipline without hiring a CISO or claiming a SOC you do not need.
Businesses that need security handled, not a security department.
If customers, insurers, banks, or regulators are asking about MFA, backups, and endpoint protection—and you do not have someone whose job is to keep those answers true—this is built for you.
Security is everyone’s side job.
Updates wait. Shared passwords linger. Nobody is sure the backup restores. The next phishing click is a business event, not an IT ticket.
Your insurer or a customer asked for proof.
Questionnaires ask about MFA, EDR, backups, and admin hygiene. We put the stack in place and document it in plain English.
You will not staff a SOC.
Most mid-market firms do not need theater. They need a maintained stack, named owners, and reviews on a cadence that matches the business.
What we manage—control by control.
A managed security stack is the minimum set of controls that stop most common losses. We deploy it, keep it current, and tell you plainly when something is still open.
01Identity & MFA
Account inventory, privileged access cleanup, and multi-factor authentication rolled out where it matters—so a stolen password is not an open door.
02Endpoint protection
Business-grade protection on workstations and servers, with ransomware-focused configuration and coverage you can actually verify.
03Email & phishing defense
Filtering, spoofing controls, and practical user guidance. Most incidents still start in the inbox; we treat that as a control problem, not a training slogan.
04Patching & vulnerability hygiene
Operating systems, browsers, and common business apps kept current on a schedule, with exceptions documented instead of ignored.
05Backup & recovery readiness
Critical data and email protected, with restore tests so recovery is a fact, not a hope after ransomware.
06Logging & visibility
Useful logs retained where they help investigations and insurance questions. Visibility without pretending we run a 24/7 SOC.
07Microsoft 365 hardening
Tenant baselines, conditional access patterns, mailbox and SharePoint hygiene, and admin role discipline—see also our Microsoft 365 security page.
08Reviews & evidence
Quarterly or monthly reviews (by plan), insurance-friendly summaries, and a living list of gaps with owners and dates.

What is a managed security stack?
A managed security stack is the set of practical controls most businesses need but rarely keep current: identity and MFA, endpoint protection, email filtering, patching, backups, logging, and Microsoft 365 hardening—owned and maintained by a named team instead of left to whoever has spare time.
Do you provide a SOC, MDR, or 24/7 monitoring?
No. We do not operate a SOC or MDR service and we do not claim around-the-clock monitoring. We deploy and manage a security stack, review alerts and hygiene on a defined cadence, and escalate when something needs attention during business engagement.
How is this different from Managed IT?
Managed IT covers day-to-day support: help desk, devices, networking, and Microsoft 365 operations. Managed cybersecurity focuses on the control stack and security hygiene. Many clients take both; local shops often start on Managed IT with security included.
Who is this for?
American businesses that cannot staff a dedicated security team—professional practices, manufacturers, contractors, healthcare offices, defense suppliers preparing for CMMC, and growth companies whose customers or insurers now ask hard security questions.
What do Covered, Protected, and Managed include?
Covered ($65/person/month) is the essential stack: endpoint protection, patching, MFA rollout support, and email filtering. Protected ($95) adds tested backups, quarterly security reviews, and network hygiene. Managed ($135) adds monthly reviews, compliance support, and priority response.
How long does onboarding take?
Most environments are onboarded within about two weeks after a short assessment: inventory, priority gaps, then deploy the stack and document who to call.
Ready for a security stack you can keep current?
Fifteen minutes is enough to map coverage, gaps, and a flat monthly number. If you also need help desk and networking, we will point you to Managed IT.
